 | The founder of Acemastering is David Senn, A qualified mastering engineer (Berklee USA). David has been a musician from a very young age winning drummer of the year competition at the age of just 6yrs. He continued his music studies in piano (Trinity College London) and started giging with bands at the age of 13yrs. Playing keyboards and singing led him to being a successful contestant in Channel 9's New Faces talent competition, which resulted in David doing a Television commercial for Brashs Music. David's influences range from Billy Joel to Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, George Benson, Oscar Peterson, etc. David's band worked in many of Melbourne's nightclubs entertaining crowds who enjoyed their funky styles. Songwriting has also been a part of his musicianship from a young age, with winning songwriting competitions on Melbourne Radio TTFM, a grand finalist for the Yamaha Rock 89 Song writing competition. His song Power To Shine was one of the songs selected by Channel 7 for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games TV broadcast. In 2004 and 2005 David wrote and produced 2 live DVD recordings of contemporary Gospel music which is aired on the ACC via Foxtel. In addition to qualifying as a Electronics Technician, David has also qualified in Audio Production at the Box Hill College of the Arts. David started recording albums for local artists in his "Senn Music" studio from 1997 and now is passionate in bringing a new level of mastering to the musician/songwriter/performer.
"Everybody who records, needs mastering" says David, without it your work is not complete. However mastering has for sometime been very expensive and only for the selected few. This is in the past as David brings affordable mastering with true quality to the present.
